The Ford Foundation, one of the most influential foundation in the world, traditionally released its annual report as its flagship publication. Under the leadership of President Darren Walker in 2014, however, the foundation sought to create something entirely different.
I was responsible for partnering with the Ford Foundation Communications team to develop an overall content strategy for what the new digital platform would be. I designed and facilitated workshops for discovery, research, and strategy to create what would become an inaugural "Ford Forum." By breaking out of a single institutional voice and instead including perspectives from thought leaders, the Ford Forum was entirely new type of digital communication in the world of philanthropy.
